Because GoToMeeting does not include editing software, you must use an external editing tool, for example, TechSmith Camtasia ® to edit your meeting or recorded webinar. However, before you can edit the recording, you first have to re-encode the file with a tool that could be Microsoft ® Expression Encoder.

Click Download on the website of Microsoft Expression Encoder
Click Run or Install in the notice
Click Run in security warning notice
Follow the Setup Wizard to complete installation
How to re-encode your recording with Expression Encoder

Open Expression Encoder
From the File menu, select Import and navigate to your recording
Locate the Encode tab on the right side of the screen and expand the Video panel.
Configure the settings according to your needs, although we recommend setting the video output format in VC-1 Simple.
We also recommend setting the mode size and aspect ratio video source.
Select the Output tab and choose the location for the saved file
Select Encrypt the File menu
The processing time depends on the length of the recording, the output configuration and the system hardware. When finished recoding the file, it will already be ready for editing.

To download and install Microsoft's Expression Encoder

Click to download from the Microsoft Expression Encoder website.
Click if you are prompted to run or install.
Click the Run dialog box for safety.
Follow the instructions in the installation wizard to complete the installation.
To encode your new recording with Expression Encoder

Open Expression Encoder.
In the File menu, choose Import and open the folder that contains your recording.
Locate the encode tab on the right side of your screen and maximize the video - Windows
Specify the settings as desired. We recommend adjust the video output format to VC-1 Main.
We also recommend SizeMode and Video Aspect Ratio to rely on source.
Click the Output tab and choose a location.
Select Encode the File menu.
The processing time depends on the length of the recording, the output settings and your system hardware. Once the file has been re-coded editing is possible.
